Booking a room (in full or through a payment plan) constitutes acceptance of these terms.

Payment & Cancellations

You can reserve your spot with a full payment, full payment is due before attending the retreat. 

The following items are not included in payment retreat amount: passport, visas and associated fees, covid tests and health travel insurance ; accident/sickness, trip cancellation, and baggage insurance; gratuities to hotel personnel; optional sightseeing excursions; extra taxis, personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls and Internet access; baggage charges on aircraft; airfare and associated local taxes, airport facility and security taxes and federal inspection fees not listed as included in the Program; transfers and baggage handling to/from airport/hotel on day(s) of arrival and/or departure if Clients are arriving earlier or later than and/or departing earlier or later than the scheduled group transfer(s); any overnight on land due to flight schedule(s); alcoholic or other beverages and all other services not specifically mentioned as included in the Program, nor for expenses incurred in preparation for tours or retreats by a Client that cancels— including, but not limited to airline tickets, vaccinations, nor for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness.

Booking in full or signing up for a payment plan constitutes that you are in agreement with these Terms and Conditions.

Payment is non-refundable, yet should we need to cancel/postpone the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, your payment can be transferred as a credit to a later retreat. Read more details below. 

 If you choose not to attend a retreat that is going forward, the personal cancellation policy below applies. 

Covid Precautions

The ease and safety of your travel during our retreat are our first priority.  Our venue and partners on location are assuring to take all reasonable precautions for sanitation. We will take action on whatever is necessary for your safety and wellbeing (even if it can be to possibly postpone or cancel the retreat).

Travel: If you're not fully vaccinate, you will need to offer proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of their departing flight. We recommend a negative COVID-19 test before traveling to our retreat, we want to help everyone feel relaxed and comfortable during our days together and also be respectful of the communities we visit.

In case, we have to postpone the retreat due to COVID-19 or COVID-19 related travel restrictions, we will provide you with a €1500 credit to be applied to any other Nomad event within a year, and either credit or refund you with any balance payments made above that amount.

In case NOMAD ATELIER postpones/cancels a retreat

Client acknowledges and understands that the remoteness of the destination, local custom and/or prevailing weather conditions may cause minor inconvenience or modification to portions of the Program. Nomad Atelier reserve the right to modify and/or cancel any retreat arrangements due to unfavorable weather conditions, other events of force major, mechanical, or other conditions beyond the control of Nomad Atelier.

In case we are forced to postpone the "Nomad Business Escape"  for any of the above, we will provide you with a €1500 credit to be applied to any Nomad Event within a year, and either refund or credit you with any balance payments made above that amount.

We will not be responsible for any refund for non-refundable airline tickets or for any airline tickets purchased by the passenger directly from an airline or travel agent. Nor for any associated travel costs incurred in connection with the retreat. Once airline tickets are issued they are subject to the carrier’s refund policy; non-refundable airline ticket fees (which may be up to 100% of the ticket value) may apply. We highly recommend travel insurance to cover these risks.

If CLIENT postpones/cancels a retreat

Due to the involved logistics and costs incurred for reserving related services and lodging, we offer no cancellation refunds. however, should you be unable to attend, we are happy to welcome anyone who would like to participate in your place upon approval. If you cancel your participation in our retreat for any reason, there will be no refunds for any payments you already made. There will also be no refunds or discounts for: arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness.

We highly recommend you have a comprehensive insurance policy that covers unforeseen, personal circumstances to cover risks associated with travel and any costs associated with illness, injury or accident that we can’t be responsible for. We reserve the right to alter or vary the program at any moment.

Retreat Program & Liability

We will make every effort to operate our retreat as planned and advertised. We will communicate any specific revisions or changes to your retreat via email. We reserve the right to alter or cancel the retreat or make any necessary changes needed. In the event of cancellation, our liability, if any, shall be limited to and liquidated by a refund or credit to each prospective participant.

Nomad Atelier and members shall not be liable for any damages arising from personal injuries (including death) sustained by participants, on, or about the retreat premises, as a result of the use of any equipment or facilities, or as a result of any activity with Nomad Atelier during the retreat.

Travel & Insurance

Client acknowledges that it is their responsibility to obtain any and all travel documents necessary for their participation in the Program, including but not limited to passports and visas, and meet vaccine or covid requirements. Client is responsible for checking requirements before departure as these can change.

Nomad Atelier highly recommends participants to obtain travel insurance for the retreat. The participant will be solely responsible for any expenses or liability not covered by their personal travel insurance plan. The best way to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstance is to purchase a comprehensive trip insurance. Depending on the coverage you choose, travel insurance can protect you in case of:
  • Lost luggage
  • Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured
  • Cancellation of  participation in a retreat 
  • Event cancellation due to natural disaster, manmade disaster, or not enough participants to run the trip

Use of Media

Nomad Atelier reserves the right to use photos, video or other media that might include Client in marketing materials and for other business purposes. Client hereby affirmatively consents to such use by Nomad Atelier, otherwise please communicate non-use by writing to team@nomadatelier.com, before departure.

Disclaimer

Clients requiring assistance must travel with a companion who will be responsible for handling equipment. By signing this Agreement, Client hereby declares that they are in good health, have no physical conditions that affect Client’s ability to travel and/or participate in any of the activities involved in this Program or would create a hazard for himself/herself or other participants. Client further acknowledges that Nomad Atelier is in no way responsible for any costs related to Client’s medical care prior, during, or after the Program. It is essential that any pertinent information, including any social, emotional, or physical problems that might limit your active participation in the Program be discussed with host of Nomad Atelier prior to your participation in the Program. Your participation in all activities is confirmation that you are fully responsible for any and all risks, injuries or damages known or unknown without limitation.

Nomad Atelier shall in no event be held liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, special, incidental or other consequential damages arising directly or indirectly from any activity during the Retreat.

COVID-19 Safety Acknowledgement

In light of the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19, any participant who falls within any of the categories below should not attend our Nomad Business Escape in Greece.

1. Individual who within the fourteen (14) days leading up to the retreat has experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19, which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others.

3. Individual who believes that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment prior to the retreat.

You hereby acknowledge and understand the following:

1. Participation in the Retreat includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While our efforts may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist.

2. You knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.
