Yes — for the first three nights in Marrakech, you will choose and book your own riad, while the last two nights in the desert are already included as part of your journey. This is very much part of the experience.
It is designed intentionally to offer flexibility and personalization. Marrakech offers a wide range of styles and locations, and everyone travels differently — some may wish to arrive earlier, enjoy solo moments, or select a space that reflects their individual taste.
To make this experience truly special and exclusive, you’ll receive Katherine’s personal insider guide — featuring her favorite hidden gems, new openings, and inspiring riads to help you select your perfect stay.
Because many of these places are in high demand and tend to book quickly, we recommend confirming your spot early so you can secure your preferred riad and make the most of this rare access.
For the final two nights, everything is taken care of.
You will stay in Katherine’s favorite desert location, where accommodation and meals are fully included. This hosted desert experience brings the group together for a beautiful and immersive closing chapter of the journey.
Absolutely. This experience has been designed with flexibility in mind. You may arrive earlier or extend your stay after the program. Our welcome guide will help you plan with insider recommendations.
Airport Pickup / Friday, Nov 8th
Fly into Marrakech Menara Airport. Transfers to and from the airport are included in your stay. We will collect travel itineraries and coordinate pick-up times as we get closer to the retreat.
If you should arrive days prior to start of the retreat, accommodation is on your own however you will find recommendations on where to also stay in your Nomad Guide, included in your Welcome Package.
Riad Check-in / Friday, Nov 8th
Retreat check-in begins at 2pm giving time for everyone to arrive and settle in. We will be having our opening session at 5 p.m. and then head out for a light dinner in one of my favorite places.
Departure Day / Wednesday, Nov 13th
Check-out is at 11.30 am. Transfers will be arranged to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departing flight.

If your friend is also interested in joining, we’d love for you to bring her to join the Retreat. We ask you to sign up individually and simply let us know if you’d like to be in a room together. Yes, wherever possible. We will work closely with our hosts to accommodate preferences and needs, especially during hosted meals and in the desert camp.
Due to the involved logistics, we offer no cancellation refunds. However, should you be unable to attend, we are happy to welcome anyone approved who would like to participate in your place. We highly recommend you have insurance in place to cover other costs such as flight or any other incidentals, that we can’t be responsible for. We reserve the right to alter or vary the program at any moment.

Please check the visa requirements and general passport regulations (Ex. validity before arrival) to enter Morocco before booking your trip and check before departure any changes.
The traveler is responsible for obtaining and carrying the travel documents required by the authorities, any vaccinations that may be required and for complying with customs and foreign exchange regulations.
