It was probably my nomad spirit that led me to begin this journey, learning to let go and focus on building a different life. Just as I would travel the world to discover new places and be inspired, the same journey began within, wanting to know myself and understand if I was living a life I truly desired. From corporate life to a soul-searching sabbatical, I began my own entrepreneurial journey — a life I never expected for myself and yet exactly where I would find my why, designing a business around my talents, passions and skills.
It was from this personal experience that I envisioned and founded Nomad Atelier, to help others dream bigger and design a soulful business aligned to who they really are.

With a refined eye for detail and design, Katherine brings over 20 years of corporate experience leading digital and marketing initiatives in the fashion and outdoor industries for international well-known brands including The North Face, 7 For All Mankind, Vans, Eastpak, Benetton, and more. Katherine holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a specialization in marketing from Boston University.

I could hear my soul whisper to me to let go, but I didn’t want to listen.
Despite it all, no matter how many times I was promoted or how hard I worked, I could sense that something was lacking.
I spent 20 years building what should’ve been my “dream life,” and yet, something was missing. At the time, I was traveling the world and leading digital initiatives for brands I’d always admired. I was living the dream of the little girl who was raised by a divorced mom, and who sought out a successful career and economic security.

My travels through morocco, the silence of the desert – awakened my nomad spirit, yearning for something more. For the first time in my life, I asked myself the most important question: What was my real purpose, and who did I really want to be?
I had no idea that I would need to lose my job to discover who I really was, that I would take a sabbatical year exploring remote places, preparing me for my unknown path ahead, confronting my biggest fears, those of losing my economic security and redesigning a different life.

Finding that clarity and guidance in those moments of transition was essential in my path to becoming an entrepreneur, something I had never imagined for myself. Inspired from my own journey, I found my why –
I listened to the voice within me, the one who told me to believe in myself, and to build a life aligned to my “why,” while connecting my different worlds around my passions, natural talents, skills and experiences. I started learning to see beyond my limiting beliefs and tapping into my unique gift.
